A Riviera Maya wedding venue that sleeps your whole guest list

Most venues rent you a space inside a bigger property. This one hands you the property: a gated beachfront estate with five villas, two palapa suites and a dedicated event palapa.

The venue, in one read

What Hacienda del Secreto is — and is not

Hacienda del Secreto is a private family beachfront estate on Playa del Secreto that hosts weddings when it is not reserved for family use. It is not a hotel with a wedding department: for more than 25 years and 200+ weddings, the same property has run one event at a time, for one group at a time.

Lodging is the venue

What planners ask first

Can we rent the entire estate?

Yes. Reserving three or more villas closes the estate to anyone outside your group — a total buyout of the villas, suites, pools, event palapa and beach frontage.

How many wedding guests can the estate host?

Overnight, the villa collection sleeps 60+ guests across 27 bedrooms. Ceremony and reception capacities for the beach, event palapa and The Butterfly Landing are confirmed during planning with the estate team.

How does dining work on the estate?

The estate runs its own private restaurant with chefs preparing everything from Mexican breakfasts to five-course dinners — served table-side, poolside, beachside, or beside the cenote by candlelight. Outside food vendors aren't part of the estate's model; menus are planned with the culinary team.

Walk the property — in person or on a call

Venue visits and planning calls are handled by the Villa Experience team with the estate directly. Bring your questions; you'll get written answers.
